An experiment in measuring my regular amount of sleep in relationship to how many hours I work in my studio as a result. The data collection began as a way
of seeing whether or not how much sleep would effect my overall feelings of productivity and how many actual hours I spent working on my senior studio project. To further explore the relationship between sleep and my own productivity, I made a conscious choice to gather data for a second week where I would fully control how much sleep I was getting.
The national sleep foundation states that adults and young adults should be getting anywhere from 7-9 hours of sleep. For my second week of data I alotted eight hours a
day in order for sleeping. I’m not a light sleeper nor do I find difficulty in falling asleep so my sleeping hours were from 10pm-6am for the totallity of week two.
